We want to make sure that you have a smooth experience accessing and using cPanel, so we've put together this guide to help you get started.

Accessing cPanel

As a reseller, you will receive one single username and password, which provides you access to both WHM and cPanel. Both of these are accessed through different ports.

To log in to cPanel, you can use the server hostname provided in your welcome email. Use the :2083 port, like this:

https://alfa.cloudns.io:2083

Note that the hostname is unbranded to avoid mentioning the Brixly name or brand. The address 'alfa.cloudns.io' is the hostname of the server, while :2083 is the port used to access the cPanel interface.

You can log in to your cPanel account using the above link, even if your domain hasn't yet been pointed to the server. This is great for testing. Once you've pointed your domain to the server, you can log in using your own domain like this:

https://yourdomain.com:2083

Again, the :2083 specifies the port of the cPanel service, which differs from the previously mentioned port :2087. When you access this specific port, you'll be redirected to the cPanel login interface. Enter your username and password from your welcome email to log in.

You can also log in to cPanel via our client area without using your cPanel account username and password. Simply log in to our client area at https://client.brixly.uk, go to 'Services -> My Services', and select the reseller account. From there, click 'Login to cPanel', and you'll be securely logged in to your WebHost Manager.

Logging in via WHM (WebHost Manager) (Resellers Only)

To log in to cPanel account via WHM, navigate to 'List Accounts' in WHM and select the orange 'cP' logo listed next to the domain. This method doesn't require credentials, so it's perfect for logging in to clients' cPanel accounts.

To log in to WHM from cPanel, access cPanel first, and then click the 'WHM' icon.
