Open a Ticket

SpamExperts provides the capability to establish rules that can bypass the spam filter for specified senders and recipients. It's crucial to understand that these rules only deactivate content filtering. If the sender's mail server is improperly configured, fails to adhere to open standards, or is listed on a real-time blacklist, whitelisting may not be possible (although blacklisting will always function).

Rules that block are referred to as 'Blacklisting', while rules that allow are termed 'Whitelisting'. You can either blacklist or whitelist by supplying a complete email address (e.g., john.smith@example.com) or simply by adding the domain name (e.g., example.com). The latter would block or allow ALL traffic associated with a specific domain.

While SpamExperts offers a wide range of additional filtering options and rule lists, this text primarily focuses on Sender rules for Whitelisting (allowing) and Blacklisting (rejecting). In the context of SpamExperts, the sender is the originator of the external email.

Accessing the Sender whitelist and blacklist

There are two ways to add Senders (the remote email address) to a blacklist or whitelist. You can either click on the Sender whitelist or Sender blacklist buttons from the dashboard and then + Add whitelist sender or + Add blacklist sender
